Inauguration of the new Tube Manufacturing Machinery and 2003(2011 G.C) budget year Workers day celebration

The factory has long time history in celebrating workers and customers' day once a year. The celebration is conducted within the compound of the factory and also outside of its premises. While it is celebrating outside the company, it uses the ceremony as educational tour and recreation in various recreation centers and historical places. The aim of the celebration being to educate recreate and improve social interaction among workers.

This year's workers day celebration is accompanied by the inauguration of the new Tube Manufacturing Machinery. The celebration of this two important events took place on October 8 2011 in the factory's compound.

On this celebration, His excelency Ato Tadesse Haile, State Minister of Ministry of Industry, Ato H/Mariam Gidey, Chairman of the Management Board, board members, guests and all employees were participated.

On the occasion, Ato Mathewos Assale, General Manager of the factory mentioned that the new Tube Machinery has a production capacity of 30,000 Metric ton that will increase the yearly production of the factory.

Lastly, the management of the factory awarded a trophy to Privatization and Public Enterprises Supervising Agency, Commercial Bank of Ethiopia and the labor union of the factory and a check amounted to 3000 Birr to 15 pensioners for their significant contribution to the factory acheivement.
